NSW approved Dartbrook Modification 8 on 26 February 2026, extending the mine-life consent by six years. At the same time, Dartbrook Group companies remain subject to a Deed of Company Arrangement with a concurrent receivership. That means planning approval and a normal operating employment pathway are two different questions.
